Presentations

Given the nature of the topic it will surprise nobody that those working in the field have recorded many of the presentations given on the subject of Screencasting and Vignettes.

## Variety in Chemistry Education 2011 ##

The opening keynote of the meeting was delivered by the co-leader of the Chemistry Vignette Project, Dr David Read, on his experiences of the school to University transition.

The chemistry vignette project was officially launched at Variety in Chemistry Education, York, on 1st September (#VCE11). Click here forĀ  the slides in Powerpoint and PDF format. Unfortunately no screencast on this occasion! Dylan Williams (Leicester) presented on a very similar theme and his slides can be found here. Dr Michael Seery provides an excellent guide on how to use pre-lecture materials. Michael is also an expert on podcasting and screencasting and has kindly provided a link to the notes on these topics.

Readers are encouraged to view the conference storify links created by @kjhaxton : Day 1; Day 2

Dr Lancaster also made a now infamous plea for the community to join Twitter. The slides, showcasing the SAP twitter tools can be found here.
